For Race's birthday this year we had a party at Trailriders Restaurant and she was able to invite some friends from school. Before the party started her and I went and ate dinner, just the two of us. She really enjoyed that and all the waitresses knew it was her birthday so they helpped make it extra special.

Once all her friends arived we played games like bingo and musical chairs. After that Race got to open her presents and I could not believe the amount of gifts she got. It was rediculose, but of course she loved it.

Once it was time to sing happy birthday and cut the cake I was a mess. I tryed to hid the tears and with the help of Lisa and Wendy I was able to pull it off while they jumped in there and cut and served cake and ice cream.

It was a good party and Race really enjoyed it. I can't believe my little girl is already 7. I still can vividly remember when Rory and I brought her home from the hospital to our little house on Brown street. Rory was a proud daddy and I was just glad that the whole pregnancy thing was over and having to deal with post labor pains and yuck. We were amazed at how easily we could love our cute little bundle of joy.

After the party Race and I were both feeling sad that her Dad wasn't with us so I desided to read her the note that Rory had left for her. It was the 1st time she had ever heard or seen it and both of us were bawling by the time I was finished. We sat in my room and just held each other and cryed.

I feel with each little milestone we cross my girls and I are not only getting stronger but growing closer together.

Happy Birthday RaceaJade Marie, I love you to the moon and back and will until the day after forever!!
